ITP is the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University that aims to explore imaginative use of communications technologies. Each semester, students have their show in which they show the projects that they have been working on. In this case, the idea was to create a "character" that demonstrated the experience of what ITP was, tons of prototyping, experimentation, programming, physical computing, wires... but also having the human part of it. At the end, the final product was a couple of portraits, one for the ITP Spring Show, and another for the ITP Thesis week. In each case, the face was removed revealing wires, circuits and micro controllers coming out of the head.
